Haynesworth was held out of practice Thursday and Friday after failing to pass a conditioning test each day.
But Saturday morning, Haynesworth experienced swelling in his knee and was told not to take the test, which he needs to pass before practicing with the team.

McCoy, a defensive tackle from Oklahoma selected with the third overall pick of April’s draft, reportedly agreed to a five-year deal.

Joseph, MO (Sports Network) – The Kansas City Chiefs have signed safety Eric Berry, their first-round pick in the 2010 NFL Draft.
Though details of the contract were not disclosed, multiple reports have stated it is a six-year deal worth a maximum of $60 million, with $34 million guaranteed.

According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Bradford’s deal is worth a total of $78 million.
Bradford, 23, will be counted upon to help a Rams franchise that went a league-worst 1-15 last season. He had been the Oklahoma Sooners’ starting quarterback for the last three seasons, despite playing in only three games in 2009 due to an injury to his throwing shoulder.

Lewand was arrested June 25 after a charity golf tournament in northern Michigan, with a blood-alcohol content of 0.21. After the arrest, Lewand released a statement saying he was “deeply sorry” and would take full responsibility.
Lewand’s suspension will begin August 25, when there is a league meeting in Atlanta.

Bryant was helped off the field after colliding with a defender toward the end of the session. He tried to get up, but sat back down and needed the help of trainers to move off the field.
The Cowboys selected Bryant with the 24th overall pick of the 2010 draft.

The Jets’ Twitter page on Friday revealed the signing, and while terms have yet to be released, the New York Post reports a one-year deal.
Coles spent last season with the Cincinnati Bengals, hauling in 43 balls for 514 yards and five touchdowns in 16 games. Prior to that, he suited up for the Jets between 2005-09, scoring 24 TDs in 60 contests.

Haynesworth was held out of the Redskins’ first training camp practice Thursday after failing the initial test. Because Haynesworth did not attend the majority of the team’s voluntary offseason programs and skipped the mandatory minicamp in June, due to an objection to his role in the team’s defense, he must pass the conditioning test.
According to a story on the team’s website, players were informed that if they participated in less than half of the offseason programs, they would need to pass a conditioning test before practicing. New head coach Mike Shanahan said he wants to make sure Haynesworth is in shape before putting him in practices.
